I love hearing from readers, not as much as I love wine, but a VERY close second!

Thanks!

Focus in the Bedroom

For the last two weeks every moment has been dedicated to studying for finals. I eat, drink, and sleep quantitative research.

You think I’m kidding?

See for yourself:

I read somewhere that if you study in different locations you’re more likely to retain information. I decided to test the theory and moved into the bedroom to remain focused. There’s something about being in my bedroom that helps my focus.

THIS IS NOT A SEX POST!

No seriously, not a sex post. Since I’m like 100 years old I need to try anything I can to improve my memory. Sadly by the time I was done I was too tired, and lazy to move everything.

I slept on the couch, and then I woke up and rocked my final!

  • Finals SUCK but you are right about the method you used. It was always better for me to move around.

I’m sorry you didn’t get to sleep in your own bed, though. (Seriously, it’s the most comfortable thing on the planet, I swear.)

  • Yes. I feel your pain. I eat and sleep quantitative research and statistics… oh, and calculus too, all of which I am procrastinating right now. Finals week sucks.

Whose great idea was it to go back to school at 30? Oh, yeah. Mine.

  • I’ve still got wine waiting for finals to be finished … and then need a place to deliver.

  • How many times, and in how many locations, did you read that about studying in different locations before you remembered it?

I think to celebrate the rocking of the final you should schedule an emergency road trip to SD.

  • Who needs ambien?
That pic made me sleepy. LOL!

    Congrats on the final!

  • I KNEW I liked you for some reason!! Look at all those notes neatly written on 3 x 5 cards! You are OCD Heaven, Baby!! Congrats on acing the final!
